Former Congresswoman McKinney remains in Israeli Prison! WHERE SHE BELONGS!

As usual our friends at Popehat.com have the best commentary:

Former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-Some Small Asteroid in the Vicinity of Saturn) remains imprisoned in Israel, after allegedly violating the country’s territorial waters by piloting the ship “Spirit of Humanity” to the shores of Gaza.

An international incident is not expected.

McKinney, a fierce critic of Israel, and Jews, achieved fame when, following a primary election defeat by a fellow black Democrat, her father blamed the loss on, as he put it, “J-E-W-S”.

Are Furmeets magnets for pedophiles?

The Denver Post is reporting:

A 45-year-old Fort Collins mother is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy who also was part of a group that enjoys dressing up as animals.

Richael L. Michels faces sexual assault on a child charges, according to the arrest affidavit the Fort Collins Coloradoan newspaper posted on its website. Her husband notified the Colorado Department of Human Services in May that his wife might be having an improper online relationship with a teen-aged boy, the affidavit says.

He also told investigators she had "recently become involved with a group known as 'Furries,' who dress up like animals and have social gatherings online and in person."

Our government is worried about losing tax revenue when cars go electric

...so the solution is to equip every car with a GPS and charge us by the mile!

The Kansas City Star is reporting:

The year is 2020 and the gasoline tax is history. In its place you get a monthly tax bill based on each mile you drove — tracked by a Global Positioning System device in your car and uploaded to a billing center.

What once was science fiction is being field-tested by the University of Iowa to iron out the wrinkles should a by-the-mile road tax ever be enacted.

Besides the technological advances making such a tax possible, the idea is getting a hard push from a growing number of transportation experts and officials. That is because the traditional by-the-gallon fuel tax, struggling to keep up with road building and maintenance demands, could fall even farther behind as vehicles’ gas mileage rises and more alternative-fuel vehicles come on line.

Michael Jackson: Antisemite

Please! Let's not forget who Michael Jackson really was: a man full of hate for the Jews. The Jerusalem Post reported back in 2005:

Pop star Michael Jackson was caught on tape making anti-Semitic remarks, calling Jews "leeches."

In a series of audio tapes broadcasted on ABC's "Good Morning America," Jackson is heard using anti-Semitic language in a voice message to one of his former advisers. "They suck…they're like leeches," Jackson is heard saying. "It's a conspiracy. The Jews do it on purpose."

Is governement healthcare constitutional?

Great read at the Wall Street Journal that makes a compelling case that the government can not provide healthcare and maintain Supreme Court precedent that guarantee personal privacy (Roe vs. Wade).  Simply put,  if a persons body and medical records are a private matter, then the government can't force citizens into a healthcare program that violates their right to make personal medical decisions.
